    Annesley Gardens transformed a backland site into a residential street of 20 homes. Located in an architectural conservation area the contemporary architecture successfully integrates into the sensitive context not only in terms of its scale but also in its expression and brickwork detailing influenced by the surrounding Victorian architecture.

    Art Pavilion M. is a museum for multimedia art in Almere. It is composed by three circular elements – a pier, a terrace, and a pavilion – opening the institution to performances and installations on water, towards a water square framed by the ring. In 2023, M. was awarded the “Premio Italiano di Architettura under 35” by Milan’s Triennale and Rome’s MAXXI.

It is a building conceived and developed together by the people living and working there. The result is 25 interconnected units that each have a very high space and several lower spaces.

    Black Slavonian pig is an autochthonous Croatian breed. During the 20th century, the number of individuals declined and it was declared endangered. Fortunately, interest in this breed has returned. This farm was designed to accommodate the needs of traditional farming thus aiming to achieve innovative solutions using traditional, local materials.

    The temporary outdoor swimming pool FLOW is a 1:1 scale model. Serving both as an example and a provocation, it highlights Brussels’ lack of structural open-air swimming spots. Thus, the pool aims to convince authorities to invest in permanent projects while already offering a real, albeit small, safe and inclusive place to cool down in summer.

    This building is an urban IKEA with excellent connections to the public transport system – no car parking at all, but 160 trees.
    The buildings volume is stepping back on all 4 sides, giving space, air and sun to the neighborhood. It offers an inviting roof terrace and a large amount of greenery on all the facades – cooling down its surrounding significantly.

    Riding Stable was originally part of the Austro-Hungarian military complex and is transformed into contemporary space for the Land Registry Department of the Municipal Civil Court in Zagreb. Building is located in the southern part of the forthcoming Justice square which is a winning design from an urban and architectural competition for the location.

    In 2020, city leaders in Tbilisi, Georgia, initiated a project to replant the Tbilisi Urban Forest with a biodiverse palette of endemic and climate-adapted species. Ruderal developed and tested a novel approach to urban afforestation that integrates ecology, technology, and aesthetics via two planting projects within the 700-hectare territory.
